Korv is rooted in the tradition of structural joinery, where stability results from the precision of the joints and form emerges from the construction itself. Its solid jequitibá wood base is organized around a structural cross-bracing system inspired by traditional techniques used in vessels and large-span roofs. The wood plays an active role, transferring loads and defining the identity of the piece. The seat and backrest form a single structure with continuous, flowing lines, supported by the wooden base. This composition creates the impression that the upper section floats above the structure, establishing a contrast between the solidity of the wood and the visual lightness of the upholstery. The saddle leather reinforces this perception and, over time, naturally acquires the marks of use, making each piece unique.
