The Contorno sofa was conceived as a modular system that allows different linear configurations to be created by combining one- and two-seat modules with end units. This logic provides the flexibility to adapt the length of the piece to different spaces while preserving the continuity of its design and the formal unity of the composition. The design is defined by soft volumes, a low seat, and reduced-height backrests, creating a more relaxed and welcoming posture. Rounded forms soften its presence, while a system of seams runs across the seats, backrests, and rear of the piece, reinforcing its visual identity and emphasizing the horizontality of the design. The upholstered sides are enclosed by a continuous frame of machined solid wood that runs along the arms and extends to the base. This element defines the outline of the piece and becomes its main visual feature. Also repeated in the feet, it reinforces the continuity of the design.
