Arken derives from arché, a Greek concept representing the essential principle that precedes and organizes form. Its base, sculpted from solid Brazilian marble, conveys strength, stability, and permanence, preserving within its veining the memory of a material formed over millions of years. The glass top is produced using the fusing technique, in which the material is exposed to high temperatures. The small bubbles preserved within the glass are natural characteristics of the process, making each piece unique. By combining the solidity of marble with the transparency of glass, Arken transforms material, time, and engineering into an elegant, balanced, and striking composition.
